My Parting Shot: Goodbye, South Carolina

Saying goodbye is never easy, but the time has come for me to inform you that I will be leaving South Carolina to pursue an exciting new career opportunity with Newt Gingrich’s organization American Solutions. South Carolina is truly a wonderful place, and I’ve been fortunate enough to make hundreds of friends and work with some of the brightest political minds in the country.

I’ll be going to serve as the Website Manager at American Solutions, and I’m looking forward to working with an outstanding team dedicated to bringing Real Change to all levels of government. American Solutions is heavily committed to empowering citizens and government through using technology. They recently opened an office in Silicon Valley to learn about new emerging technologies, and their tech operations were featured in the Washington Post just last week. They are also working to develop one of the most powerful and interactive websites in politics, which should present me with some intriguing challenges over the next several months. Most importantly, I’m ready to focus on the critical issues facing our nation. We are going to face tremendous challenges in the coming years, and I hope my work at American Solutions will allow me to truly make a difference.

Ten years ago, Moveon.org started with petition signed by 250,000 people to end impeachment proceedings against President Bill Clinton, and they’ve been a powerful political force ever since. Two weeks ago, American Solutions started a petition to “Drill Here. Drill Now. Pay Less.”. This petition has now been signed by over 420,000 individuals. I will be working hard to build on this success because if there is an organization that can lead the charge for conservatives to surpass the liberal left online, it is American Solutions.

I want to thank you for reading my website and sharing your thoughts in the comment section. I hope you have enjoyed reading this website as much as I’ve enjoyed blogging on it. This is my final post on the Shot, but I will still be blogging on American Solution’s website and other community driven blogs. I hope that you will visit www.americansolutions.com regularly over the coming months because we need your participation to bring Real Change to government.

Sincerely,

Tim Cameron
